A very nice creative execution by Barcelona-based advertising agency Grey for Pilot in order to promote their ExtraFine pens. The concept lies in the contrast between the symbole of low resolution, Lego, and the high resolution tattoos that were drawn onto Lego characters with the ExtraFine pen (Hi-Tec-C).

The genius men at NPIRE, a small agency in Hamburg, Germany have truly stuck to their philosophy: “Work and Live.” It took over a year to complete their LEGO wall divider, and it was definitely worth the precious time and effort. In addition to their daily duties, they worked on this project. Of course, cleaning up the office would have been easier, but that’s not living. “That would be clean but dull, not creative at all,” they say.
The impressive wall is made of their personal LEGO bricks from childhood in addition to 80 brand new packs. Well over 55,000 bricks were used to complete the 3 foot wide wall. Now that’s one awesome office improvement!
LEGO Architecture Frank Lloyd Wright’s Robie House
On September 1, LEGO released a new addition to its ultra collectable LEGO Architecture series in Frank Lloyd Wright’s Robie House in Chicago. Built in 1910, it is considered a seminal piece of architecture in America. It is one of many storied, internationally recognized pieces of architecture immortalized by LEGO. Structures like the Farnsworth House, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and the Guggenheim Museum, also designed by Wright, are included in the series. Robie House, the LEGO version, of course, tops out at around 200 dollars.

Three LEGO figurines are traveling to Jupiter, affixed to the space probe ‘Juno’.
The models represent the italian astronomer Galileo Galilei, the roman god Jupiter,
and the roman goddess Juno
Created by LEGO on a special commission from NASA, the three figures are composed of aluminum, created at a cost of about 5,000 USD each. special manufacturing was required to ensure that the figurines do not interfere with the spacecraft’s sensitive measurements and instruments.
‘Juno’ is expected to arrive on jupiter in july of 2016, where the solar-powered probe will collect information about the planet, its moons, and atmosphere over the course of one year.
It is scheduled to launch aboard the unmanned ‘atlas V’ rocket at 11:40 AM EDT on august 5th.

“I decided to combine the two things that I love most: music and LEGO. This whole project took me about a month and a half, very on and off. I’m quite pleased with how the headphones turned out in the end, as they are sturdy enough to be tossed around in a bag. My favourite part is that I can take it apart any time to make repairs that may be needed on the go. No tools necessary!”
