“Damaged Cosmetic” is a series of photographs by Paris-based studio Le Creative Sweatshop made in collaboration with French photographer Fabrice Fouillet for the 52nd issue of WAD Magazine. For this specific issue which is themed around riots, they decided to abuse and destroy beauty products elegantly and in an orderly fashion, rather than conveying a sense of chaos. The results are stunning.

New editorial styled by OKI-NI featured Tyler (@Premier Models) and Fenn (@Models1). Situated on London’s North Circular, Ace Café has been a mecca for petrolheads since its doors opened in 1938. A place to talk mechanics, listen to rockabilly, and drink a beer, the café has reverberated with the sound of revving engines for over a generation. Today, whether you’re riding a Harley or a scooter, Ace Café is the place to go. It could be your point of origin for a long road trip, or a place to refuel after a long night ride.
Blending in with this iconic setting, their STYLED brings together a mixture of mod and rocker influences, as rugged denim pieces meet more tailored shirting and outerwear. Like some of the patrons of Ace Café today, the looks are more eclectic and less tribal, while still having an element of the rebellious spirit that defined the 50s.

Joshua Scott Shoots Mercura Sunglasses [Exclusive]

Here, in exclusivity for Trendland, is this editorial featuring Mercura sunglasses, photographed by Joshua Scott and styled by Jorge Rubalcava. Mercura NYC are made by Rachel Cohen-Lunning and Merrilee Lichtenstein Cohen, two sisters.
Together they designed metal body sculptures and art at the Hotel Chelsea in the mid 1970′s. Artwork included unique fantasy jewelry, metal dresses, metal bustiers, gauntlet cuffs, headdresses, crowns, metal hoods, and eyewear, cigarette holders, head ornaments, boxes and paintings and table mounted sculptures. They continue to have their design studio at the Chelsea and at a large work loft in the Flatiron Neighborhood.
